Open a 3-3/8″ dimension and 2-3/4″ depth hole, put gauge into it and fasten
Hook up easily, 3 wires connection(power, ground, lighting). This is complete unit, can work directly with gps sensor together, not need other sensor cables. Mount the sensor at any position, on or under the dashboard.

How to adjust backlight ?
– Power on the power supply first.
– Press the back SET button or Multi-function button (less than 2 seconds) to change the back light color.
– Color in sequence: Red(Default)->Green->Blue->White->Yellow->Kelly->Orange->Purple->Auto Mode.
– When users select the AUTO MODE, the back light will be off for around two seconds, and switch automatically as above sequence per minute.

How to install it ?
– Cut an 85mm (3 3/8″) hole in the panel (II) and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4??) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
– For the GPS antenna, you should securely fasten it, black side upwards, preferably outside (or inside front windscreen) so that it has a clear view of the sky to pick up satellite signal. Connect the antenna cable to socket in the back of the gauge. And do not cut cable.

GPS keeps counting ?
– After installation in the first time, GPS needs to search for signal, that’s the reason that LCD counts numbers all the time.
– After getting signal, LCD will come back to 0. It is normal.

How to switch “TRIP01” “TRIP02” “COG” ?
– Press the back “MODE” button for 3 seconds to switch “TRIP01”, “TRIP02” or “COG”.
– “TRIP01″(Default): mileage will be automatically cleared after power off, the data will not be saved.
– “TRIP02”: mileage will not be automatically cleared after power off. Users need press the back “SET” button for 3-5 seconds to clear.

Why does ??TRIP?? display E01, E02, E03 ?
– Turn on supply power after installation.
– Then the meter starts to search for signal and “TRIP” will count automatically.
– If there is still no signal, “COG” “TRIP” will be flickering.
– If “TRIP” displays E01. It means that there is not any GPS signal.
– If “TRIP” displays E02. It means that this started working well but suddenly lost signal in the middle. (If the signal is lost in the middle of 30 seconds, keep the speed before the signal is lost; if there is no signal after 30 seconds, the speed will be reset to zero)
– If “TRIP” displays E03. It means that this cannot receive any data from GPS antenna within 10 seconds. (If the signal is lost in the middle of 10 seconds, keep the speed before the signal is lost; if there is no signal after 10 seconds, the speed will be reset to zero)
